Samsung opened the One UI 8.5 beta program for the Galaxy S25 series in December 2025. However, it was only released for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra, and not the Galaxy S25 FE. Now, the South Korean tech giant has made it live for the Fan Edition model as well.
Samsung has opened the One UI 8.5 beta program for the Galaxy S25 FE just now. Currently, it is live in South Korea, and is expected to go live soon in India, the UK, and the USA. The first beta version of the new software has a download size of around 4.5GB.

To get One UI 8.5 beta on your Galaxy S25 FE, download and install the Samsung Members app from the Galaxy Store or the Google Play Store. Then, log into the app using the same Samsung account you used to set up the phone. Then, search for the One UI 8.5 Beta Program banner and register your device for it.
Once your Galaxy S25 FE is enrolled into the One UI 8.5 Beta Program, navigate to Settings > Software update > Download and install, and you will be able to see an update. Tap Install now to get it, and the phone will then restart after a few minutes.
Since it is a beta update, it could have lots of bugs as well as performance and reliability issues. So, install it at your own risk. We advise you not to install a beta update on a Galaxy device that is critical for your day-to-day usage.
